Emergency actions |
| F.D
FAN |
Can¡¯t start |
Check
the power. Check
the S/W and the rated capacity of each part. (Check the
Over LoadTrip.) Check
the wiring. ¨Í If the ¡â - Y operation
can¡¯t be started, check for damage in the magnet coil
and check for a cut wire. ¨Î
Check the wiring for the contact point for self maintenance.
¨Ï Check the contact point of the timer
relay. Missing
phase or unbalanced phase-to-phase voltages ¨Í
Run the No Fuse Breaker (NFB) and check for heat discharge. |
| Stopped operation |
Check
the safety device. Check
the heat discharge from the motor. ¨Í
Check the rated current. ¨Î Check
the phase-to-phase voltage. (Check for missing phases.)
¨Ï Over Load Check See
if abnormal noises are generated. ¨Í
Check the heat of the bearing. (Check the balance.)
¨Î Check for mounting and dismounting
of the impeller. |
Check
the safety device. ¨Í Check whether
the pressure is blocked properly. ¨Î
Check the water level. ¨Ï Check for
actual combustion. ¨Ð Check the wind
pressure S/W. |
| F.W PUMP |
No water supply |
If
there is air inside the pump (remove air, check the underground
tank¡¯s check valve.) Abnormal
noises ¨Í Impeller worn out (damage)
Cause 1 : Cavitation effects
(Air in the pump, when the temperature is abovespec.)
Cause 2 : Alien substances inside
the pipe (Clean the strainer) The
pump¡¯s discharge pressure is high, but the amount of water
supply is low. ¨Í Check the valve
for the water supply line. ¨Î Clogging
in the water supply pipe (caused by scale) |
| Automatic
device |
No automatic water supply |
Check
the operation of the Mc-DONNELL.
Even if the water level is lowered, the pump does not
operate
¨Í Check for clogging in the connection pipe and the valve
for the Mc-DONNELL caused by scale.
¨Î Poor mercury contact point
¨Ï Poor bellows pipe
Check the power and electrical circuit for the pump. |
| No proportional control |
Check
the automatic and manual switch.
Check the adjusted condition of the pressure proportional
controller.
¨Í Clogging in the bellows pipe. (Remove rust.)
¨Î Check for any cut or open circuit in the electrical
wiring.
Check the electrical condition of the control motor.
Check the connection of each area. |
| BURNER |
Poor ignition |
Check
the ignition gas and the light oil.
Check the separation of the spark plug. (3~4mm)
¨Í Check whether the ignition transformer operates normally.
- Check for leakages in the high-voltage wiring.
- Check for any damage in the insulation.
- Remove carbon from the plug. (Clean it thoroughly with
a dry cloth.)
Excessive amount of primary air injection
¨Í In case of gas, check whether the pressure is enough
for ignition. (0.4~0.6 kg f/§²) |
| Poor ignition |
Check
whether the flame detector operates normally.
¨Í It operates but the solenoid does not fully open. (Check
the wiring and
the coil.)
When the solenoid is fully opened
¨Í No oil (check the oil meter.)
- Check the rotational direction of the burning pump.
- Check the oil in the service tank.
¨Î Yes, oil comes out.
- The amount of oil is too small. (Check the residue in
the pipe and the mixture of water. Check the adjustment
of the fluid meter.)
- Too much air (Check whether the secondary damper is
loose.)
When the oil temperature is too low (B-C Oil : 80¡É~90¡É)
Flames are dying.
¨Í Unstable air and oil pressure
¨Î Inadequate amount of primary air
¨Ï Air inside the pipe |
